The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
